Many cladding failures are generally associated with a flawed design that was constructed faithfully and/or a sound design that was poorly executed when constructed. As contemporary enclosures continue to use new cladding materials or existing cladding materials in innovative ways to achieve the desired performance and aesthetic, these design and construction problems can become exacerbated.
